Saturday July 5th - St. Peter's Art and Artisian Show in Lewes

On Saturday July 5th From 9 am to 4 pm, St. Peter's Historic Chapel in the heart of downtown Historic Lewes will be encircled by artists from all over the East Coast. Admission is free. Stroll the booths on the sidewalk and streets surrounding the church at the St. Peter's Annual Art and Artisan Show in Lewes, Delaware.

Join us in the downtown area of the Historic District of Lewes on Friday July 4th. We'll have activities for children on Second Street and a Patriotic Boat Parade on the canal. Activites run between 10 AM and 2 PM.

Sunday June 22nd - Thursday June 25th - 10th Annual Chautauqua

Chautauqua: n. Pronounced: shuh-taw-kwuh. an annual educational meeting, originating in the village of Chautauqua, New York in 1874, providing public lectures, concerts, and dramatic performances during the summer months, usually in an outdoor setting. The 10th Annual Chataqua Tent Show in Lewes will bring History to life thru re-enactments and monologies of historic characters. The theme for this year is MUSIC IN AMERICA! Enjoy Celtic, Sea Shanty, Country, Gospel and Rock musical entertainment and listen to speakers portaying the likes of Billie Holiday, John Philip Sousa, Clifford Brown, and George Gershwin.. The events will take place on the grounds of the Zwaanendael Museum and the Lewes Historical Society from June 22nd to the 25th, 2008. Sponsored by the Delaware Humanities Forum. Summer Concert Series in Stango Park

Only five remaining concerts for the Summer Concerts Series at Stango Park (next to the Lewes Public Library in Lewes, DE). These concerts are a collaboration between the City of Lewes and the Lewes Public Library and are made possible, in part, by grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency committed to promoting and supporting the arts in Delaware. All concerts begin at 7 PM and are free and open to the public.
