Dear Lee Ann,

May I take this opportunity to thank you for your generous contribution to the Beebe Foundation Tunnell Cancer Center for the purchase of portable DVD players and a DVD library. Your contribution will make it possible for patients who are undergoing chemotherapy and blood transfusions, which can take between four to sic hours for each session, to view the video of their choice during these procedures. This certainly will help take their minds off this stressful and sometimes very frightening reminder of their debilitating disease.

The Tunnell Cancer Center originally purchased 20 DVD players. Presently, there is only one player that is still functional. So, as you can see, your contribution toward the purchase of new players will help to comfort patients during treatment.
